Edit: I’m coming back to this review because we are still treating my cat for the damage that was done from this cat tunnel, after 5 months, and will need to continue treating her for another 5 months, with potential long term damage!We had to do an invasive test on her to find what exactly the cause of her health decline was, and the results showed it was a rare bacterial infection from the material that she ripped from this tunnel. She struggled to breathe for months and has been rushed to the ER for oxygen therapy numerous times, she was vomiting/diarrhea and lost so much weight, she had random inflammation in her paws and face, and skin sores. We needed intensive antibiotic therapy which involves 3 injections a day for months, which we still must continue for at least 5 more months.After almost losing our cat, and the added stress of astronomical vet bills, I WISH I would have never purchased this tunnel. She was perfectly healthy beforehand. This tunnel should be recalled. It is not worth the risk!CAUTION! This cat tunnel is very dangerous! It almost killed my cat, she is still recovering and has been hospitalized a few times in the last two weeks because of this cat tunnel. There are 4 stringy pieces hanging off the tunnel which are a hazard for cats, they’re not sturdy enough to withhold cat chewing and come right off. My cat chewed the strings right off the tunnel and became very sick very quickly. She’s seen multiple vets and thousands of dollars later and they couldn’t figure out why she was vomiting, diarrhea, not eating, and got so skinny so quickly. She was barely responsive.Today the mystery was finally resolved when she passed in her feces a long piece of material which I was able to match to the same material hanging off this cat tunnel.The tunnel is cheaply made and I am so upset that it almost killed my cat.
