Review on 8ft Kanulock Lockable Stainless Steel Tie Down Straps with Reinforced Design by Mike Roberts

I have purchased Kanulock 13' strap. So far I've used them twice with no problems traveling a total of over a hundred miles at around 80mph. The straps are soft and very flexible, making them easy to manipulate when attaching surfboards to car roof racks. I also like the soft rubber padlock cover that protects my car's roof from scratches. I did find that I had to pull quite hard to get the straps through the locking mechanism, but that doesn't bother me. When tying down surfboards, be aware that over-tightening the straps can damage the surfboard rails. The only complaint I have is with the key and lock. I find it quite difficult to lock and unlock. The key is also very thin. The lock is the reason I bought these straps. I hope the makers of canoe locks read these reviews. It could be a five star product given these recommendations. use, but only if lock and key are approved.
