beautiful, durable and easy to use

Initially I only used it to find center on uneven parts before turning. Mount, align and mark. Easy. Then I started pinning it in the center and marking a circle so I could cut it before putting it on the lathe. It's well made, the markings are clear and engraved rather than printed to avoid fading. I always keep it up my sleeve between uses so it hasn't scratched yet so can't comment on that. While it's not the cheapest by a few bucks, the quality is excellent and I'm satisfied and would recommend it.
