Does not seal. Garbage.

Replaced original cap with this cap on a 2008 Durango because I was getting slow evaporator leak codes and the gas cap light was on. After replacing the cap, the same codes/gas cap light still appeared. Did a smoke test with this new cap and the smoke came out around the cap. It turned out that the new cover is not airtight at all. Absolute waste of time/money.
