You don't have to be a wine expert to tell the difference between bottled wine and sparkling wine. The aeration process gives wine, especially red wine, a fresh, vibrant taste. Try a tasting side by side and you will be amazed. We have had a Nuance wine aerator for many years. It did a great job. But it was dripping at the rim where it was inserted into the bottle which was very annoying. When he was fatally injured while taking out the garbage, we decided to try the rabbit aerator and windmill. The rabbit is very efficient at aerating the wine as it comes out of the bottle. You can hear a gurgle and see air bubbles in the wine as it pours. We really wish there was a sediment strainer like the old Nuance. But Rabbit sits securely in the bottleneck and doesn't leak at all. After use I just take it out and rinse it and it's ready for next night's wine. I'm glad we bought this one.
