Overall this product is amazing. It serves a unique purpose and does it very well. Here are my problems. Screws are used for assembly. I found this very unacceptable in my setup and ended up using zip ties instead of screws. The cables to the battery are fine, but the power cord is short. While some can do it, those who can have no problem. I would advise either providing a longer cable or having a plug on the unit to which you can connect the cable of the desired length. You can deliver what you consider standard while giving your customers the flexibility they need. The LED display is dim and not bright enough. I would have preferred to see a dominant status indicator. Even if it means moving the LED to the surface of the case, it would be an improvement. It is installed in a car for the daily driver who sometimes sits without use for several days. There have been numerous issues with a dead battery for unknown/unspecified reasons. My solution was to install this and plug it in at least every weekend and that's where the problems stopped. Note where the power cord connects to the power line. When the weather brings rain or snow, you want to make sure the connection is secured in some way. I decided to require the hood to be opened, connected and closed but not locked. Slightly inconvenient but functional it seems like a better option. Still, I love this product and will buy it again. hopefully an improved version. While I've focused on the bugs, this is the best I can find, so I have to give credit to those who bring in new technology. This product works perfectly and serves its purpose. I'm concerned by the fact that it's so close to a 5/5 rating.
