I decided to try these Srixon Z Star balls after several reviewers said they were like the much more expensive Pro V1 balls looked. After trying them out in practice and playing two full rounds of 18 holes I was very disappointed and can't believe they come anywhere near the quality and performance of the Pro V1 balls. I noticed that it's a very heavy ball that you don't seem to feel. I found them like dead weight when chipping or putting, and even noticed their apparent slowness on impact and approach. They seem solid, but in my experience the performance is terrible. I returned to Pro V1 and it was a very simple and long-awaited solution.
