I helped my friend buy this. I'm helping her burn her old home videos from VHS to DVD and I needed a way to quickly duplicate finished DVDs. Duplicating DVD to my computer would not only take a long time but also require a lot of work. This machine does everything very quickly and easily. So easy to use. Even a person who is not very tech savvy can use it. You put the DVD you want to rip on the top tray and the blank DVD on the bottom tray. At the push of a button, he starts the copying process. I haven't ripped that many DVDs, but so far the longest has taken less than 10 minutes. You really can't hit this time. If I were to do this on my computer it would take at least a few hours if not more. And I was able to play the duplicated DVD on my DVD player without any problems. Best Features: No monitor or special/additional hardware required. Just plug it in, switch it on and you're done. DVD copy time is fast. I read in reviews that music CDs are even faster. For what it does and how fast it duplicates, it's worth the price because of how much time it saves you and how easy it is to use. My girlfriend was hesitant to buy this at first because she didn't want to spend $158 (she's pretty frugal), but after seeing how easy it is to use and how quickly it copies, she's so glad she went for it Has decided. Note that protected DVD cannot be copied, but for anyone who wants to copy DVD like home videos, I recommend this device!
