I was so hoping to replace my shiny stainless steel pot with this one. It is clearly shown in the photo as glossy but comes with a 'matte' finish. I'm sure it will get the job done, but what I really wanted was what I saw in the order: shiny. I'm mad at myself for not seeing the word "clean" in the photo description. The word "matte" wasn't at the top where the basic description is. Well, it's my fault, but a company should never use a photo that appears "brilliant" in every way when it really isn't. My mistake, just a disappointment. ***Since writing this review I have had the opportunity to use it every day for my draft coffee which is great. The balance is very good and it also seems to be very well made. The top is a little tight but that's probably a good thing as it won't slip or fall off when pouring. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 is because the photo of the pan leads a person to believe it is shiny stainless steel and not brushed. However, I can get used to it.
