Review on 📓 Bee Paper Company BEE-20005 Creative Marker Sketchbook, 8-1/2" x 11 by Tracey Brown

I love these journals! So far I have bought both the 5.5x8 and 8x8 and they are both really impressive! They feel very solid and heavy in my hands - I know they won't slip or wobble with use. The covers, both front and back, are thick so they don't bend or wrinkle at all and there is a good film separating the cover from the actual surfaces being painted. The wire is also heavy. When you open a magazine, the cover and paper slide smoothly. The paper itself is fantastic quality, 100% cotton. It's not pure white, but it has a subtle creamy undertone. I have washed this paper very heavily and it does not pill. When wet it rolls a little but then dries smooth. I don't use a hair dryer so I don't know if that matters. I like the 8x8 size best. It offers plenty of room to work, but doesn't feel overwhelming as a beginner. I see myself refilling them year after year so I'll stock up.
