It worked. That's the only good thing I can say. Looking back, I should have just put the money into a better spiral saw. It is very difficult to change blades with plain ends, and if you don't align the blade properly in the top and bottom blocks, the blade will break. I ended up finding it too cumbersome to keep using it. I'm going to buy a new spiral saw that is designed for both types of saw blades.
