Excellent Flat Repair Kit

As already mentioned, other instructions leave something to be desired. To change the valve type, unscrew the valve head and lift the locking lever. The plastic portion of the valve will pop out and the rubber outer sleeve will likely remain in the pump. Remove the rubber element from the pump and then install the plastic valve in the direction required for your valve type. Forearm lock on the back of the pump. Reattach the rubber grommet, mark the orientation required for your valve type, and then screw on the facepiece. You must be able to use the pump for your specific valve type. Note that pinching the tire valve is the opposite of what is intuitive. To clamp the valve stem, hold the locking lever down until it rests on the stem, then remove the retainer from the pump. In general this is a good kit. Mine crashed right next to the bottle cage. My bike had two raised eyelets on the frame that fit snugly into the cutouts on the pump mount, and then the bottle cage fit on top of the mount. I haven't used the patches yet (knock on wood) so I can't view them. I wish they had a small pouch to carry patches and tire levers instead of a needle ball valve but for the price it's a great deal. I used a small pouch for an old Garmin GPS that climbed under my seat. I would buy again if needed.
