That's fine, but it might be worth buying a better bike, even if it costs more.

I've had this bike for 3 months now so I've had plenty of time to break it in and really see how it performs without being impressed on the first ride. First, the seat is terrible so I replaced it with a wider and softer one. The seat that comes with it is hard and not wide enough for me. Second, I used it for a while with the pedals included in the kit, but then decided to replace them with a pair of pedals that allow me to use cycling shoes. clamps. After constant use (4+ days a week for about 12 weeks) the bike squeaks and squeaks a lot more than I expected or wanted. I docked a star or two for that alone. The seat creaks when it's too tight and when it's tight enough but still loose. The steering wheel also squeaks like crazy and I tried again very hard and hard enough. Also, the plastic pieces on the ends of the legs can easily come loose if you accidentally hit them. After all, it gets the job done and I'll keep using it until I've saved up enough to move on to something else. Assembly is easy if you have someone to help you. I like the metrics on the small screen (especially the one that shows cadence), but the resistance button leaves a lot to be desired. There's no way of knowing exactly how much resistance you've added or removed, so I'm just guessing and hoping I'm right. I only use what fits my body to resist. Anyhow, I'm not sure I would recommend it based on the actual quality of the bike itself. As I said in the title, if you don't have to deal with squeaky, dirty seats or cage pedals, you might be better off buying a more expensive spin bike.
