I put a starter motor in and it sounds horrible when cranking the engine.

. The original starter has been replaced as the engine will not start (the solenoid got hot from the exhaust manifold). I will most likely need to replace the starter/flywheel assembly now. The message with the attached documents stated that the starter motor was checked. .
