Review on 🚗 KONNWEI KW600 Car Battery Tester: Professional 12V Load Analyzer, Alternator Tester, and Voltage Test for Automotive Batteries by Ryo Flora

I really like the device until I came to check the charge. I see how it should work on Youtube. Mine gave me the open circuit voltage, asked me to increase the RPM for 5 seconds, hit enter - the screen flashes for a second and goes back to the home page. Other reviews seem to have come out the same day - something smells like fish. Went to the webpage to see if there is a firmware update and this model isn't even listed. Come on folks, don't sell anything that's not ready for sale. Update: I got a response from the company pretty quickly. (that's a plus). They told me to update my software (they admitted the error). A software update was not listed for this model, but I tried anyway but got an error message that the device cannot communicate with this software. wait for the answer So the device does not work as advertised, there is a bug in the device firmware and a bug in the software update. I spent about 6 hours on this. I'll give them a week to see if they can figure it out. The device seems to do what the others do with a better look and waveform function. If they can fix it, I'd like to keep it. Third update, I started with one star for the reasons above. The company responded fairly quickly and finally informed me that the update software may be on a different website than the original email. I've successfully updated the software and I'm good to go now. For the price this device is fantastic, with its waveform function it's the best in my opinion. It would have been nice to have a longer cable (I would have paid more for that option), but the cable is sufficient if you keep the device covered. Very well thought out screen icons and nice lighting (compared to similar models)
