Zero stars. I bought these 1/2" drive extensions to remove the anode from a water heater. Photos say it all. All 3 extensions failed on first use. The 3" cut right into a 1 1/16 socket, and if you look closely at the ends of the 6" and 8" extensions you will see that they, too, are about a ratchet away from being completely cut in half. The anode wouldn't budge with 350 ft-lbs of torque applied with an impact wrench, so I lengthened the ratchet handle with 5-foot pipe to achieve these results. much force to cut the extension with the pipe. Neither the ratchet wrench nor the nut were damaged. It's clear these extensions were the weak link.
