These switches had a few little rough edges, such as a slit. B. the first signs of corrosion on the nuts immediately after unpacking. They are also a lot smaller than I expected. I'm used to the Blue Sea Systems battery switch, which is huge compared to them. There are mounting options for both front and rear, but I wish the front mount was a little flatter. There's a slight curve at the top of the switch, which probably looks nice with surface mount, but there's less "face" pressed against the panel with flush mount. But everything worked. What I really liked is that these switches have plastic panels on all four sides AND on the back. Not many switches. And they aren't breakable—they can be removed and reinserted as often as you like. I don't know of any other switch in this price range that includes this feature and it's really nice if you end up surface mounting it or just want to protect the connectors. As shown in the picture I use them to power a solar charger and RV battery. Works perfectly.
