The drawstring didn't work but we were still able to use the shorts
I don't know if it was just us but we couldn't stretch the drawstring much, either when the shorts were a little loose. My son was still wearing them and the shorts stayed up but he was a bit uncomfortable because they were riding further than he wanted. Otherwise they are good. He likes the look, the length. I just wish we could tighten the cord.
