I used this plug to replace a plug on a trailer that was cracked and showing its age. Every time I used it I had to spend some time cleaning the pins on the plug, so I finally decided to just replace it. This was my first fork change on a trailer. It's not rocket science, so everything went smoothly. Some reviews complained that the color coding of the wires was incorrect and non-standard. I took a second with a multimeter to make sure the wires were the same as the old connector and they were, so there wasn't a problem for me.
