1997 gmc jimmy, SLE 4.3L The side of the brake check valve that goes into the brake booster was about 2 sheets of paper too thick. So I cleaned the original sleeve and glued it onto the check valve. Took a steel toothbrush to clean the brake booster area and forced the check valve and old bushing in. It would be possible to use a new bushing, but I didn't. I want to spend more than an hour sanding the paint off the brake booster. Edit: Worked for about 2 months and blew up into 3 pieces. Luckily I still had the old one on the floor in the car.
