Haven't used it yet, but I find it a bit strange that the ski holders themselves are lockable, but the crossbar holders are quick-release (no locking option). So if someone really wanted to, they could run away with the whole package and disassemble it later. But with infrequent use, the risk can be acceptable for the price. Other first impressions: even in freezing temperatures, the locks seem a bit difficult to open and close (maybe I just don't use them, but they don't offer much security). I also wish shims were included to reduce the risk of plastic parts breaking from over tightening and to make it easier to tighten the sides.
