Well, they say first impressions are key. This Magnet definitely made a good first impression. It's got good weight, seems well made, looks nice and has scraper attachments for stubborn algae. My last magnet was bought at Petsmart, nothing special and probably over 5 years old. Even basic algae seemed to be tough to remove. As soon as I used this magnet, I noticed a HUGE difference. I was going to buy a new magnet and longer scraper, but came across this and figured I'd try it out. Definitely glad so far. IF for some reason that changes, I'll definitely update my review.
