. These were the only spring compressors I found that could fit 2.5 turns between the spring and shock body! They had no problem compressing the 650 lb spring about 4 inches for me to insert the mount. I highly recommend taking them apart, cleaning the threads and lubricating them. I did this and the tool ran very smoothly with no jamming. The threaded rods were slightly bent (as shown in the picture) but immediately returned to their original shape once the pressure was removed. Overall they got the job done and were able to compress the spring 3 times (I forgot to install the thing) with no issues. Much better than the tool I rented from AutoZone which scratched my other coilover and got stuck between the damper body and spring. Before use, they will work for you too!
