I bought this for $16.99.1. It includes an adapter and power cord so it can be powered from an external source.2. You can use 4 AA batteries if you want it to be completely wireless. I have sharpened 6-8 ordinary pencils with no problems. There are 3 settings I think. Pencil tip size. I left the default. the largest.3. Pencil shavings are easy to open with the front compartment door.4. The sharpener will turn off automatically when the tip is fully sharpened. What else do you need? I know there are some that support much larger pens. but nowadays when mainly school kids use #2 pencils, I think most users fall under this pencil sharpener. Much luck!
