Fire hazard
I've been using this EVSE for about a year. The last time I used it, I noticed that the wire between the outlet and the switch box was deformed, when I examined it more closely, it made a noise and stopped working. You can see in the picture that the cable got so hot that the outer insulation completely melted and the inner insulation did the same, shorting out the device. I was lucky the fire didn't start. If you have this device, I suggest that you stop using it immediately. I contacted the company but received no response.
