With all the negative reviews I thought it would be difficult to get started but I'm no fool when it comes to technical stuff so I gave it a try. It was really easy. I got it working with two different Raspian images (Hypriot and standard Jessie) by simply adding a few lines to config.txt: max_usb_current=1hdmi_group=2hdmi_mode=87hdmi_cvt=1024 600 60 6 0 0 0 The first one Row allows you to send the pi more power through the USB ports, the other three set the resolution manually for HDMI. These are the standard Pi configuration variables and are required for most bare monitors. Wiki: [.] The version I got was v2.1, so the touchscreen worked right away.
