Vendors really need to be more clear about how static voltage and current PoE devices transmit data. Anyone expecting a device that is, for example, 802.3af or 802.3at compliant (that is, the injector and termination device negotiate current and voltage via the IEEE 802.3 protocol) will be disappointed by this device. However, this model is listed and supplies 24 volts, 0.5 amps static (equivalent to 12 watts of power). And Ubiquiti makes decent hardware.
