Jumped straight onto my W210 Mercedes 2000 Wagon glad I had replaced it bought the car at auction and after removing it I spun the old wheel and it sounded like gravel. There's no harm in changing them, especially if you don't know the history of the car. The trickiest part is getting the allen wrench into the small hole on the old one to hold it in place for removal. I just tossed it back along with the spare tire, old belt and idler pulley in case I break down in the desert en route to Vegas and need a spare.
