Quality part at a great price

Great price for the part, installation was easy as it is exactly the same as OEM, solved my problem. 40,000 km driven since installation and still no problems.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Exchange available

not good quality. Spanner only lasted about 40,000 km

I had to update my review on this product. For example, this is a Chinese product. Also, the quality is not very good. The tensioner has only driven about 25 thousand.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I don't like that it's not exactly the same as OEM.

Well, does what it's supposed to. I don't like that it's not exactly the same as the OEM where you can loosen the tension with a screw in the center of the pulley, everything else is fine.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • A few minor things

Jumped straight onto my W210 Mercedes 2000 Wagon

Jumped straight onto my W210 Mercedes 2000 Wagon glad I had replaced it bought the car at auction and after removing it I spun the old wheel and it sounded like gravel. There's no harm in changing them, especially if you don't know the history of the car. The trickiest part is getting the allen wrench into the small hole on the old one to hold it in place for removal. I just tossed it back along with the spare tire, old belt and idler pulley in case I break down in the desert en route to Vegas…

Pros
  • Superb design
Cons
  • old

served 2.5 years, 30,000 km. (OEM lasts 200,000 miles and 16 years)

Bought 2.5 years ago (April 2016). Fulfilled his duties for 2 years. But in the last 6 months he started chirping, chatting, now squeaking. It seems that there was play in the bearing and the belt recently flew off. I suspect a squeaky, wobbly idler pulley is to blame. Warranty 2 years, but I've been sitting for 2.5 years. The OEM part lasted 16 years and 200,000 miles. The new part has served 2.5 years and about 30,000 kilometers. It seems to be the difference in quality between the original…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Faulty

What garbage!

I try to stay away from URO parts unless they are cosmetic only as I have had less than perfect results with them. When working with a Mercedes, using genuine parts is always the best method. Of course, this was one of those times when I was in a hurry with parts and trying to save a few bucks because the OE belt tensioner (INA or Litens) would take about a week to get here and to the MB dealership too should cost around $250 when it was available. I took a risk, but I lost. The thing doesn't…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled
