Review on 🌹 Elevate Your Crochet Projects with the Tulip Etimo Rose Crochet Hook Set by Angela Rodriguez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Hook - YES! Package.

approx. First, the hooks themselves are 5 stars PLUS! However. I cannot give this review 5 stars as the packaging was terrible. And the hooks were dirty. So do not buy from this seller if you will receive them as a gift. The box was damaged, the bottom was dented, the round sticker on the box - dirty - covered with hair. I took the photos as best I could but I don't think that shows how dirty they were. Also, if you look at the close-up photo of the hooks, you can see black scuff marks on the top of each hook. I cleaned them with 99% alcohol and it came off but. Even if I gave this to someone, I would be embarrassed. Luckily they were just for me so I didn't have to send them back etc. This seller has the lowest price for these amazing hooks so I spotted them but the quality of the packaging/delivery - and they say they were new , but I'm pretty sure mine was used based on the hook marks, the hair covered decals, etc. Enough of that. HOOK. YES SIR. YES SIR. YES SIR. And yes, I will say it again. YUP! I don't know how or why these hooks can look almost the same as many other ergonomic hooks or hooks with rubber grips etc but they work in a COMPLETELY different way. Crochet hooks confuse me in this regard. I'm sure there are real reasons, but I'm not an engineer, so I'll never take the time to figure out why. However, if you can afford these hooks, get them. Currently! They seriously do the straightest stitches and it's a lot easier to just maintain consistency. Didn't think I would buy the hype surrounding them I thought I could just say I bought the most recommended hooks and I still prefer Clover Armor hooks etc. But as much as I like my amazing size hooks L from Clover love. These Tulip Etimo hooks are what they should be. One thing I've noticed since I've only used Clover hooks in the past is that they have a shorter shaft. Which honestly helped my crochet skills a lot. So this part does something different. It's likely to be just 1 or 2mm shorter, but I noticed that and had to get used to it. Also, the back of the handle has the brand's name "Tulip" engraved in raised letters, I thought it would bother me, but once I started crocheting I really didn't notice. I'm very glad I could afford these hooks, I also bought a 6.5mm hook (this set stops at 6mm) to add to that, as well as Etimo lace hooks (I haven't received them yet, they're on their way) and a Tulip Etimo Grandhook to complete the set. They also have the previous version of Revain's Etimo hooks - they're with black handles and a gold hook. They're not that pretty (in my opinion), but they're very affordable and work just like these, so I highly recommend getting Tulip Hooks if you can afford it. Just shop your favorite/most used size in a crochet - your knitwear will notice the difference right away! Well if you make amigurumi then these hooks are a MUST! Net hooks are also a must (blue handles, silver hooks) if you want to make small stitches. So the hooks are amazing - the only reason for a 4 star rating is the packaging. I really want to give the package 1 star but I want people to know these hooks are great too!
