After these crochet hooks arrived I pulled out some yarn and made a shell stitch pattern (using a 4mm crochet hook and 3 gauge Bernat Baby Sport yarn ). I used to hate using this yarn because the yarn used for splitting got tangled on the needle (clover love set), it was annoying! But with this tulip hook I had no problems at all. I feel like my stitches are getting even smoother and I crochet faster too. The hook slides through the stitches like nothing happened, they are so smooth and buttery

I really like the hooks, they are smooth and secure yarn/cotton. The grips, while nice, are quite hard, not soft, and you have to hold them fairly far from the handle to avoid thumb swollen before the thumb grip is comfortable. I crochet about 6-9 hours a day and my thumb hurts because the grip needs to be longer and softer. Thumb thickening is a problem and like some other reviewers, my thumb hurts! If only the Tulip Hook and Clover Amour Handle could connect and make babies 🤣. My solution to

So do not buy from this seller if you will receive them as a gift. The box was damaged, the bottom was dented, the round sticker on the box - dirty - covered with hair.
