Has not been repaired for a long time but I can say I was impressed with the quality of this kit. Torque ratings for the canopy were also a great touch. Had to do this pump job on both my wife's 2.5 and my own. We replaced the pump on her car and I decided to restore the pump on mine. The work was about the same, except for the difference between working with a gearbox and an automatic transmission. When you consider how easy it is to use and how much this kit saves you (about $300 for the original kit at the DAP store), it's not hard to give it a try! One sentence between my two jobs: If it's on a Golf or Jetta, consider jacking up the car. I'm about 6ft tall and the bends were a real back killer. I put my second car on stands and not only did the work go faster, but it was also easier on the body!
