I chose this approach because my cat ruined the blinds. The film base is very thin and takes time to separate. Other than that, the product is great. I would buy it again for other projects. One thing I want to know beforehand: it is useful to know the direction of the sun's rays. In my case, on a sunny day, at certain times of the day, the sunlight falls directly on my spot and blinds me. This is all the more important since I am staying at home. It's beautiful and I love the color it brings to the room. It still lets light through and offers privacy. Additional window treatment may be required at certain times of the day and depending on the amount of sunlight.
