I've only used a 3mm punch so far, but it's very impressive: I punch holes in both 36 gauge aluminum and 36 gauge brass. Some punches don't pierce brass at all, and all other punches I've tried left burrs on the back of the hole. This stamp leaves an absolutely clean hole. The tongs are large, too big for my hand, so I either have to use them with two hands when the sheet metal can be held in a vise or clamp, or when I need to lie on my side on a work surface when I need to hold it a small piece of metal with one hand. It's hard to see where exactly a hole goes with a mark, but the stamp has a center pin that is fairly easy to line up with the mark on the metal. Even better, if you use an awl or set of nails and a hammer and make a small indentation in the target metal, you can feel the pin in the center of the punch as it enters that indentation and let you know when you're positioning got it right to give you the hole you want, where you want. After trying a few kicks I'm really glad I found this one.
