Review on BV Bike Kickstand Adjustable Mountain by Trey Ali

Good quality though.

I'm using this on a bike frame with a tapered chainstay. That means it gets slimmer and tapers down as it nears the rear axle. This stand doesn't accommodate that taper very well (it will eventually move back and weaken as it does). The included nylon/rubber pads to protect the frame finish either do not help or may aggravate this situation. My solution was to wrap the chainstay in a rubber material (like wrapping a drop handlebar). It doesn't take much time; The contact length of the footrest is only about 2 inches. I used an 8 inch piece of elastic that was about half covered and wrapped with tape on both sides. It looks like a very short section of a wrapped steering wheel. Then I fixed this stand. When tightened, it digs into the layers of rubber and holds the bike frame in place. This way there is NO movement in the footrest. On the plus side, it's stable without the risk of over-tightening and snapping the three mounting bolts or crushing the chain. Otherwise the stand makes a good impression. It doesn't wobble or rattle, and the adjustment function is convenient. The slide adjuster construction and materials are exactly the same as the Giant Accessory Stand for my Roam, so I'm guessing it's from the same manufacturer. I would buy it again (this stand) and I recommend using a rubber sheet before installing. It protects the frame surface and provides a secure fit.
