We were very happy with these as our old vacuum fell apart. plus the video made the plastic nozzle super handy. In fact, it's quite difficult to hold a slippery vegetable with your bare hands and press it directly onto an oblique blade. Changing a regular blade to a straw is easy, but the locking mechanism doesn't want to stay locked. (Also, the small cleaning brush that came with the kit doesn't physically fit between the blades). The little bonus cleaner has no issues and is actually a life saver allowing me to give the product an overall rating of 3.
