Review on Farberware Stainless Steel FCP240 Percolator: Efficient Brewing for 2-4 Cups by Eric Hall

Very different from Farberware as far as I can remember

I am beyond disappointed with this product as I have had many Farberware coffee pots in the past and loved them. I originally ordered the pot on January 1st and was excited to receive it. Unfortunately, the cable smoked after plugging it in and the bottom of the pan smelled strongly of burnt plastic. I immediately sent the pot back and ordered another one. (I'm a punishment eater.) I got a second pot yesterday only to smell the exact same burning smell when the pot was plugged in. I note that both pans were made in Mexico. (Both pots also had quality control stickers on the bottom, so I'm not sure what level of quality Farberware allows for now. I've read other bad reviews from customers saying their pots were made in China, but I ignored them.) Farberware I think. thought. This time they will try Mexico for the production. FYI, there's nothing quite like "Made in the USA".) It's a shame that one of the biggest names in coffee pots has come this far. I would continue my review but I need to go to UPS to ship this item back ASAP to get my money back. (I want to say that Revain is great for a comeback!)
