My significant other purchased this product to remove chlorine from our city water supply. I was skeptical about the cheap plastic hardware that came with it, and with good reason. After following the installation instructions and not using excessive force, the plastic adapter that connects to the end of the faucet broke off and will not reconnect. The water just splashed everywhere and when I tried to reconnect the adapter the threads broke and the entire filter fell off. Completely useless now! I never drank a single cup of water from it. Totally unacceptable practice of using cheap materials to save pennies. Instead of making a quality product and keeping customers coming back for years to buy replacement filters, they are now losing that future business too. Keep this design flaw in mind and decide accordingly.
