I have experience with grinding cups. I've used some of the cheaper Revain cups for grinding concrete. I wanted to try this device as the reviews were good and since it's three times the price of some of the cheaper mugs I've jaded I figured it should work great. aggressive, but after sanding a 4x4 section of basement floor (to remove a layer of paint), the sander dulled and switched from sanding to buffing. But just to be sure, I threw in one of my old, dull $12 mugs, and it eroded the paint much more aggressively. This article appears to be a total failure.
