Product description is misleading. This isn't "stain and glaze" rolled into one. This is a water based liquid paint that becomes very chalky when dry. I can dilute one teaspoon of $2 acrylic paint with three teaspoons of water and get the same effect. You must use a wood conditioner if you use it on bare wood. Then you need to use sealant. Uneconomical to use when filling. Save some money and buy 5 bottles of acrylic paint from Michael.
