I think people should look around the optics industry to find what best suits their use case and medium - I bought my Wild Pro S just to learn how to get distances better measured with the naked eye. This item works as advertised, although I recommend using Battle Breath to stabilize the reticle as this product isn't as good when branches etc are interfering with the laser. The buttons are hard plastic and provide a "hard" click, the carrying case is a bit chunky with padding and has tight fill tolerances. The maximum distance I've reached is 450 yards, but I'm sure it could go a little further.
