not very happy with my

I hate to give a bad review but in this case I was very disappointed as many of the reviews I read were good to begin with seemed pretty good to be but when I went to use it I can point to the same object multiple times and get different readings to not regret using this one next to my sons which is very accurate. Mine was far away then I could never get the lines in it clear as they stayed blurry no matter how much I tried to tweak I just hoped it was just a bug with what I got

Pros
 • very good price
Cons
 • poorly thought out

The best return on your money. (pun)

Excellent range finder for the money. I have used it for archery, deer hunting and archery. Very easy to use. The only downside I encountered was trying to determine range in very low light. I couldn't see the display. It was also very accurate including shot distance and angle as I use it from a tree stand. I would definitely buy this rangefinder again if for some reason I ran out. In terms of range, I've shot up to 300 yards (obviously not for archery) and up to 10 yards.

Pros
 • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
 • Modern

Very satisfied after 1-2 months after reading about 200 bands so far.

I think people should look around the optics industry to find what best suits their use case and medium - I bought my Wild Pro S just to learn how to get distances better measured with the naked eye. This item works as advertised, although I recommend using Battle Breath to stabilize the reticle as this product isn't as good when branches etc are interfering with the laser. The buttons are hard plastic and provide a "hard" click, the carrying case is a bit chunky with padding and has tight fill

Pros
 • Few competitors
Cons
 • Okay

So far, so good! for laser range finder

I bought this range finder for bow hunting. I've only used it for target shooting so far (one day) but I'm already very impressed with the quality for the price. I haven't been able to get it to a preliminary distance to test accuracy, but as far as I can tell it's pretty accurate. Reading is very fast and the scan mode is useful for determining the distance to a target compared to background or tracking a moving target. The only minor gripe is that the display can be a bit blurry at times…

Impressed with this range finder!

I don't usually write product reviews, but in this case I was very happy with the rangefinder. I've been interested in rangefinders for quite some time. I recently built my own range that allows you to shoot a rifle to 120 yards and had to determine the exact barrel length for both pistol and rifle shooting. I used this range finder to do this. I'm very picky about knowing exact distances. When I first started this range finder, I checked it with my 100 foot tape measure. After testing three…

Pros
 • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
 • Nothing here

Great range finder at a price that won't break the bank

I recently used this range finder on a moose hunt in the mountains of New Mexico. It worked exactly as I needed it to, especially since I don't shoot beyond 350 yards. My experience is: Pros: Easy to use; Intuitive to use Easy to replace batteries Felt stable and accurate at <300 yards Cons Sometimes didn't work at long ranges Reticle and interior of display are harder to see in low light For 95% of the times I hunt, this is a great rangefinder. At times it seemed difficult when trying to…

Pros
 • Dope 🔥
Cons
 • Non automatic

UPDATE: Customer service replaced my first unit (after reviewing below) and the second seems to work up to 300+ yards in good light. I am now happy with the product but disappointed that the first one was faulty. Overall great customer service, good product. Original post: I was impressed to use this device on the track, less so in the field. The ProWildS is fantastic up to 100 meters, especially at its price. I've used it moose hunting and it's been flawless from 40 to 60 yards. My problem is…

Pros
 • Sturdy construction
Cons
 • Out of fashion

Not accurate enough for archery

The one I received has a 2 yard error at medium ranges. The readings are accurate up to 20 meters. Between 20 and 30 yards, my meter reads 1 yard down. My meter reads 2 yards short between 30 and 100 yards. It's not clear beyond 100 yards, but seems to be 1-2 yards down. Regarding angle compensation: the compensated distance is not very useful. For example, if you try to take a 30-yard cool shot on a 3D archery course, the device may ask you to set 29 yards. However, the threshold angle at…

Pros
 • Inspires confidence
Cons
 • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine
