I got problems when my truck stopped for a while and I started it cold, the voltage dropped to 39-42v at start. After a short drive it rose to 48-50 V and fluctuated a bit while driving. All of this was controlled with the Edge CTSII. I pulled out the FICM and just replaced it. The voltage remains at 49.5 or 50 V and the truck runs much better. This is the same board that Bulletproof Diesel sells on their website but $40 less. The job from start to finish takes about an hour and requires conventional hand tools. Just take your time with the three connectors on the bottom of the FICM when removing it.
