Best for Brush Pens

This pad is great for getting a consistent angle and size with every stroke. It works very well with brush pens but is a bit flimsy for use with dip pens. As someone who is still learning and working on building the right pressure, I've found that it bleeds on stronger downstrokes. It's also a little fibrous for nibs, and I had to brush the paper fibers out of the nibs every few words (though I've tried a few from Nikko, Brause, and Hunt). If you're still learning and working on muscle memory, we recommend using brushes on this paper.
