Paper does not bleed

I use this paper for calligraphy and writing practice. The paper is thick and does not show through.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Off fashion

Ideal for ALL brushes and MOST tips

Lines are great for beginners to practice with. The only downside to this product is that it isn't as smooth as the 32 lb paper commonly used for calligraphy. When I use less flexible tips they tend to get stuck in the paper quite often.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Requires socket

Rough texture works well for drawing paper

Pros: Cheap Cons: Line spacing is very large. I think it's ok for beginners. I think I could understand if I paid more attention to the photos. The paper is rough (cheap and scratchy) and doesn't let my pen slide like higher quality notebook paper. Can this be normal with a dip pen? Doesn't work well with my calligraphy (fountain) pen.

Pros
  • Arts, crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Will write later

Exactly as described online

The paper is of high quality, so each notebook weighs the same as professional writing paper in bookstores. The lines are exactly as described and are recommended for the study of calligraphy so that the strokes begin and end at points designed to produce a satisfactory result. Worth my money and a must for anyone wanting to learn this art form in a time when writing simple screenplays has almost been forgotten.

Pros
  • Drawing Paper
Cons
  • Disappearing

Best for Brush Pens

This pad is great for getting a consistent angle and size with every stroke. It works very well with brush pens but is a bit flimsy for use with dip pens. As someone who is still learning and working on building the right pressure, I've found that it bleeds on stronger downstrokes. It's also a little fibrous for nibs, and I had to brush the paper fibers out of the nibs every few words (though I've tried a few from Nikko, Brause, and Hunt). If you're still learning and working on muscle memory…

Pros
  • Articles for drawing, painting and being creative
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
