Review on 🔒 PL5412 Blue Ribbon Metallic Manual Tailgate Lock for Toyota Tacoma with BOLT Codeable – Pop & Lock by John Love

We installed this on our 2005 Taco to have a lock on the tailgate to prevent it and the bed extension from being stolen. Ultimately we want to add a rear camera and a cover. It looks like this device has a standard pop-up camera hole. Took a few minutes to install (more than you think if you're willing to take it upon yourself), washers and screwing in, be careful not to scratch the tailgate as your will get frustrated. We ended up searching YouTube for someone who had the same problem, so you're not alone. Make sure you flip the right crank or you'll be in trouble, the instructions for that weren't clear. Finally the corresponding key worked fine, but again the instructions are not clear, it's easier than you think, do not break the key trying to turn it back to its original place, it does not have to go there. looks great and works.
