This is such an ingenious design. I have never attempted to repair an armrest that is peeling off because other kits have required removing the door panel and burning through the plastic welds. I wasn't interested. This product simply slides in and covers your old door knob. I removed most of the old rubber lip, but it wasn't necessary. The design allows you to use the rubber rim "over" or directly on the plastic case. I am very pleased with JaronX for developing parts to address the manufacturer's technical deficiencies. Whoever said it doesn't fit couldn't read the compatibility chart. The BMW F25 door armrest cover fits perfectly.
