I bought this product to make a DIY sign for my dad for Father's Day. I've encountered some staining and painting issues that were due to a stain (or my lack of knowledge of how to use it!) causing my paint to not settle evenly on the surface, but that has nothing to do with that product do here . This is a great product to make cute little welcome signs if you want to draw them yourself. It's smooth and comfortable. I wish there were some pre-painted options though :) I also liked that this came in a box so if you messed one up like me you had a few more to get on with! It is very light and easy to hang if you attach some string or ribbon.
