We initially had trouble finding new hydraulics for the trunk lid of our 1994 Ford F-150. After the door fell on my head causing a wound and a big dent on it we finally decided to finally try to find a replacement instead of using our fishhook to prop the door up. There are so many sizes and lengths. But my husband was able to do an internet search and these were the props shown as substitutes. With all of this, installation was easy and they work as advertised. I'm sure when I open the door it won't fall down. We've been using them for over a month now and I've moved a lot of furniture by truck. We put our kayaks in the truck and they didn't sleep during the short 3 mile drive to the lake.
