I went ahead and bought this product. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

I bought this product. PLEASE NOTE: This scanner ONLY works with Brother software. The BR Receipts software that I purchased as an add-on is not working properly. It has many bugs and Brother development hasn't updated the program for years. I was trying to use a receipt app on a MAC and had to scan the file, save it and then import it into the receipt app. Your driver for this scanner does not appear in MAC printer and scanner settings. So you cannot use it for other applications.
